Lydia Hoffman

For the past three years Lydia has enjoyed developing plans and programs for learning with our youngest believers and our brave and generous teachers.

She has recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in child development. It was there that she discovered that her heart and spirit are deeply connected to the blessings and lessons of bringing the classroom to life. She is also deeply connected to the ministry of Pilgrim Lodge, the Maine UCC church camp. She believes in the power of story and being real with her faith.

Her faith has taken her on the path to pursue ordained ministry and she now serves our church remotely as she is living in New Haven CT and attending classes at Yale Divinity School.  She has recently become the student pastor for a church in Tolland CT and hopes to be able to share all she learns there.

If you have ideas, interests or inquiries about the Faith Formation programs at FCCE please reach out to Lydia or our pastor.  No idea is too big or two small or too far out of the box.
