Review: Roundabout Café

Justin and Roundabout 3.jpg

Today my culinary palate took me to a diner not in Maine but in New Hampshire just along the Portsmouth traffic circle, there is a diner called the Roundabout Diner and Lounge where friendly staff and great customer service are top of the list!

I first had the Roy Roger drink it was great the Coca-Cola was a great flavoring and the grenadine gave it a good kick. I have eaten here many times myself. I was looking for something new. First I tried a starter of truffle fries, fries with cooked to a crisp the flavoring and seasoning was great and they didn’t overdo it with the truffle oil. Next I had their “turkey doodle “which I was surprised when it came out as a wrap, but I enjoyed it and the flavor instantly took me, I felt transported , but what really caught my attention was the side of coleslaw. If I had to come back for anything else it would have to be the coleslaw which has a texture and flavoring not normally found in any other barbecue joint!
